LIFESTYLE | WYNYARD HALL SPA

Wynyard Hall to some is a grand affair, set in acres of picturesque grounds. The spa is in a separate building, a converted boathouse on the shores of the lake, just short walk from the hotel. As soon as you arrive in the spa, you know that you're in for a treat. It features a herbal sauna, salt inhalation room, two bubbling hot tubs overlooking the lake, as well as other features. Most of the spa packages feature the half an hour in the Rasul Mud Chamber which helps to detox your body from head to toe. The spa hosts ensure that your spa experience is the most relaxing that it could possibly be.

Luckily I had the chance to visit the spa at Wynyard Hall on one of the hotter days in May which meant it felt like I was on holiday! We opted for the "Under the Stars" package which is priced at £60 per person. This includes 2 hours access to the spa facilities, 30 minutes in the Rusul Mud Chamber, a glass of Pimms (Summer only) and the choice of either a seafood or cured meat platter. This specific package is normally available after 4/5pm depending on the day of choice, meaning that it is ideal for an after work treat!

The variety of spa packages available mean that you can have a slightly different experience each time. These are perfect for birthday presents or if you just want to have a bit of 'me' time.
